- woodman: @jonwest88 $APP $IBIT - You did it right. Enjoy the sidelines. That's where I am. This is a chop-you-up Market right now - high headline risk, high volatility, lots of chaos in Washington DC, lots of questions about where the economy is going and the wisdom of "policies" out of Washington. The chop resulting from this is a demoralizing money-sucker. The stocks you mentioned are extremely volatile in themselves, making them even harder to hold in such an environment. Add to that, tomorrow is end of month and full of economic data reporting. Wild cards abound.

- Bsielingtx: @woodman $APP I was just about to ask everyone what is the best way to handle a stock that goes up this much so quick. Hard to not lock in profits, but as usual, I guess it all depends on the goal of the money.
- woodman: @Bsielingtx $APP - I may put a stop on the rest, under current low of the day. If I stop on the rest, I'd watch from there because it could take the stop today or tomorrow, then move up again next week. Look at $PLTR, for example, on 2/4 and there after. Plus I won't be around tmorrow because I'm going to the E-A-G-L-E-S!! Parade.
- StockMarketMentor: My thoughts on Applovin ($APP). With the stock up about 33%, you might consider taking some off the table and leaving the remaining position intact with a stop just below today's intraday low of 496.00. The last thing you'd want to do is be holding a super profitable position that is starting to fill a 35% gap. So far, the gap is holding. This indicates some concerted buying and makes it very likely that this is a continuation gap that will lead to higher prices. So, you probably want to keep the trade going while reducing your cost basis with a partial sell -- or at least a tight stop on part of your position. The current VWAP is 508.70. So, the stock is trading right at the average price for the day. Your money. Your choice. Nice to get one of these every once in a while, huh? --Dan

This is a 253.06 percent increase over earnings of $0.49 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $1.372 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.264 billion by 8.51 percent. This is a 43.93 percent increase over sales of $953.261 million the same period last year.

Revenue in the quarter of $1.37 billion was above the consensus call of $1.26 billion and an increase from $953 million in the prior year. AppLovin also said it expects first-quarter revenue to be between $1.36 billion and $1.39 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet have estimated first-quarter revenue of $1.32 billion.
