- joelsg1: $EOSE $TSLA said they were battery constrained, opening 3rd megafactory for batteries. $EOSE makes long duration batteries for energy storage. Up 9% and I'm long.

- joelsg1: $EOSE Up 20% as it took opportunity at Needham Growth appearance today to issue beat and raise prelim '24 revs and '25 guidance up "at least 10x" due to new manufacturing plant online and ramping. Been on this one for awhile and paying off today. Long.

- Geewhiz: $EOSE Up 15% today. Last week unusual option activity EOSE Nov25 7.5 calls (volume: 14.1K, open int: 40, implied vol: ~118%, prev day implied vol: 89%). 5.4K traded in single transaction.
- fiebs: @Geewhiz $EOSE Nice move on this. I have been trading this for past several years. Many things good coming from this. Got their DOE loan. First automated assembly line up and running. Stock is short $50mil shares. Also price is above $5 so greater market that can get into this. Company makes zinc batteries for storing power on the electric grid. Good innovation and good products.

- joelsg1: $TSLA Further thoughts: Tesla missed consensus 500k auto deliveries by about 4430 vehicles, at about $7k profit per vehicle w/o FSD/services that amounts to a $31M hit. However, their big beat on energy storage deployment about 5.2 GWh higher than their last 4Qs at avg. profit of about $100M per GWh is about $520M better. Yes, the energy biz is lumpy, but where I come from $520M beats a $31M hit every time. Also, good for $EOSE which offers a different but competitive energy storage product. So, I think 3 Day Rule applies to $TSLA, whose E now set for 1/29.

- woodman: @joelsg1 $TSLA $EOSE $RCKT - Sorry, I don't know anything about it. I'll have to take a look. Biotech has been so lousy for quite some time. And then there's the head-scratcher of immensely unqualified RFK, Jr. to lead healthcare in the U.S., if confirmed. I don't think the pharma/biotech industry has much of a grasp of what that will mean. My biotech positions are $ARDX (bought back mostly between around $4.70 to to $4.90 and a little more at $5.20 - of note, insider (Director) David Mott recently bought $1 million worth of stock at $4.67) and $HUMA (bought back between ~$4.90 and ~$5.05). My ARDX (small-medium position) is larger than my HUMA (small). I also have a little (even smaller position in) $TGTX and $AUPH, and a mere placeholder in a few others just so I don't forget about them. All in all, a relatvely low concentration in biotech.

- woodman: @joelsg1 $HUMA $EOSE - HUMA has good volume as you've said. It's testing the 200d from below. Recent high was that 12/20 short-lived approval spike to $6.77. Looks like ~6.40-6.77 area is top of prior range. But also looks inverse head-and-shoulder(ish) on the daily since 11/13 or with left shoulder and head formed, but right shoulder hard to define or not yet made.
- joelsg1: @woodman $HUMA $EOSE One good contract announced, perhaps Dept. of Defense, and the short squeeze accelerates and we're above those levels.

- fiebs: $EOSE is a spec play I have been in for some time now. Starting to break out this morning. $3 stock so can trade like a millionaire. Makes batteries for utilities that are zinc based; no rare metals. DOE loan is expected any day now, which is expected to come through. Analyst target is somewhere around $11.

- woodman: Lots of interesting activity in the #Grid Level Hardware stocks - e.g. $FREY $GWH $EOSE - and #Microgrid Storage stocks - e.g. $STEM (mentioned at SMM yesterday) and $FLNC.
- mopick: $EOSE, battery storage solutions, up huge on gigantic volume. Steven Cohen of Point 72 has a 5.1% stake in this company. NP
- woodman: @mopick $EOSE - It's a small market cap but has huge potential among grid level hardware companies used for grid level storage which helps enable solar and wind power. Others to look at are $GWH and $FREY.
- PRK: $NEOV don't see the chart here, but take a look at the news regarding this new company. Putting its' product in 1000 solar recharging stations across the country, starting with Georgia. Thinly traded, but volume is starting to pick up. They sell battery storage for homes as well. This was supposed to be a reply to the $EOSE post below.
