  • MSL: $ARX ST I did not get any of $ARX, but I got another one for you GNOM on the phase 3, late to the party I know, 200day just overhead, 100day propping it up. 50 day ripped right through.
  • starboard tack: $ARX @MSL.. I see. I will add GNOM to my watch list, but probably not going to trade it though. Actually, I haven't been trading at all in a week or so except for a few trades I made with $AAPL partly because the market's been choppy, and partly because I am really going back to the drawing board and trying to figure out how I want to trade going forward (I've been with SMM for four months now, and have seen so many different trading styles that are working).
  • starboard tack: $ARX @MSL.. So this was it - real VS and expansion. No position, unfortunately..
  • MSL: $ARX VS @ $ST, here is another that hasnt gotten started yet. $KERX is phase 3 FYI.
  • starboard tack: VS @MSL.. Thanks! Yes, I was looking at $ARX too (forgot to mention it earlier. Anyway, I see that KERX/ARX do look different from CROX/FOSL (the way the prices are moving away, etc.) Maybe I should keep it simple - i.e., go with "I know when I see it" type of analysis. I may be wrong, but I think I know what I am doing wrong. Thanks again - this was really helpful.
  • MSL: $ARX ST, watch the vol on this stock, not that much, but daily looks good for a break out, vol increasing past 2 trading sessions. $TGT is going to breakout as well, maybe next WMT??

  • jojo1480: EBIX- @1Boston330, the shorts are keeping this one afloat, as you stated stock is cheap fundamentally, Other stock symbols with the letter $X in them, and am currently long are $ARX NXPI $TIBX BX $MDRX, these small/mid size caps have done really good.
  • jojo1480: Markets- Many of my stocks were that purchased in Nov/Dec2011 were called away (50% of position sixe) this week, #options spread pretty much ended otm (saves commission), bunting for singles. I like my cash position currently ~45%, and hope that some of the stocks on my watchlist will pullback. In the meantime have stakes in smaller cap names, $2billion or less, these stocks are a little extended, take a look @ $ARX SNCR $TIBX (the latter through exercising calls), I think the small/mid caps have a place in the portfolio. The only speculative plays I have are $GNW and LLNW. I mentioned last Fri re $LLNW, a prolonged Vsqueeze going to the upside ($3 stock), I bought quite a bit, just speculating.
  • jackies: $TRC, $ANN, $SMI, $ARX, $CLWR, $SGI, $BGMD, are all up today. Sometimes it's good to keep stocks like that on my radar, even if I'm not going to buy today after a big 12 to 30% up move.
