  • woodman: @ReneeH $GEV $VST $BE $MP $LEU $OKLO $CCJ $NNE - Hi, Renee. I've been trading the charts and keeping myself informed generally about what they do and why they are imporant. But I have not done the work to be able rank them as long term holdings. I know many feel that OKLO is one to keep long term, but I wouldn't feel good about making any predictions. OKLO is more of a hair-on-fire stock now, it seems. Perhaps over many years it will be a sensational gainer. If GEV VST $CEG $NRG are more like steady eddies, without the hair on fire aspects, they may make for good long term stocks as well. Ones you can hold and not lose as much sleep as the OKLO's of the world. Sorry I'm not of more use here.

Technicals are lining up as well as $OKLO is bouncing off the 50 day ema which acted as support earlier and also has a Gann buy signal. I am long and I also think it can be bought in the premarket right here up less than 2%

  • ReneeH: $URA, $CCJ, $NNE, $OKLO: The Uranium Miners ETF ($URNM) has closed higher for four straight sessions, gaining +14.5% since Wednesday. It's flirting with fresh YTD highs, closing above $50 for the third time this year. Uranium could be the next commodity to surge. The ratio ($URNM/$SPY) has established a potential bottom over the past year, and reclaiming its July peak would unlock further outperformance. The other popular Uranium ETF, $URA, is up twice as much as $URNM this year, thanks to its inclusion of $OKLO and a heavier tilt toward $CCJ. However, both funds are outpacing the S&P 500 YTD. (YTD Returns: $URA +51%, $URNM: +25%, $SPY+11%.) The Takeaway: Uranium has set the stage for a meaningful move in the coming weeks, with the ratio ($URNM/$SPY) carving a potential bottom and pressing against fresh YTD highs.

Also set an alert at the 50d in the event of a pull back at 64. If it clears the upside alerts to the upside alerts then you may want to start a position. Hope this helps.

  • Bert953: @PhilHarmonic $OKLO sounds like good news for the company. The stock however did a gap and crap and has been below the 10 min VWAP most of the day. Its is however, holding the 8dMA. No position for me. I was long Sep calls, back in July but sold them at about a double while the stock was in a leg up. I still glance at it, but its not too interesting to me here. I have a note on the chart "SPAC from S Altman a CEO of questionable integrity. Small reactor company with unproven tech and $0 revenue." I dont do fundies too much, but/so Im cautious with this one.... and thats all I have to say about that!

  • woodman: @Vcondry $NNE - I distinguish between the small modular reactor stocks and the big independent power producers ($GEV $VST $CEG $NRG). NNE is one of the small. So, $OKLO, yes is rebounding, but $SMR, not so much, at least not yet.
  • StockMarketMentor: Reversal in $OKLO. We took this stock off the list prior to earnings. The stock gapped down after a disappointing report, but is up about 8% from its opening print...and on high volume. If you are long the stock, there's no reason to sell it now! If you're looking for an entry on this reversal, consider a stop just below today's intraday low of 69.65. Alternatively, you can use the volume weighted average price (VWAP) as a reference for your stop. It's currently at 74.85. A stop just below that level really cuts the risk on this, but is more likely to get stopped out. I'll put this back on the list as a new trade idea. Basis: 77.90 Stop area: 74.60 Tight stop. Again, higher probability of getting stopped out. --Dan
