- X802tp01: $CAPR PT maintain 25, another PT upgrade to 43. > 5% stock price higher and > 30% higher volume. These are both from this morning.
- X802tp01: @Dan @Scottrade Would you cover $CAPR tonight and let me know your thoughts. Do you think this is transitioning from Stage 1 to Stage 2? If it is not, what would be an indication to look for to determine that it is transitioning? Thanks. Joe C.
- DAN: @X802tp01 $CAPR I'll look at it tonight...BUT this is a highly risky stock here. IT's gone up soooo much, and on massive volume. It's a biotech stock. Lots of risk there, and there is some type of catalyst that has pushed this stock up -- FDA application for MD cell therapy drug. Chart wise...it could go either way, and as I write this, it's rolling over. Not for me.

- Bwhitty: @scottrades $CAPR Fair enough. Bio-tech normally not a reliable horse but this one is behaving as it should.
- scottrades: @Bwhitty $CAPR Don't get me wrong....They can be HUGE trading vehicles. I'll put them in a list sometimes for a video but I always warn that it's a Biotech stock because they are risky. You'll see massive swings in both directions. Then bad news comes out and you're down 50%. So I just stay away from them especially on the website because we have a lot of new traders who might get hurt. The LAST THING I want to do as a mentor is put someone in a situation where they can get stuck or worse.

Now it seems to have found support the 50 day and bands are starting to squeeze. Imagine you would want to see it consolidate a little longer tho.

- DAN: @Bwhitty $CAPR Nobody said that. If a stock gains more than 20% within 3 weeks after a proper breakout, hold for at least 8 weeks.

- DAN: @Bwhitty $CAPR No. Just because a stock doubles doesn't mean it's actionable. A Power Move, or Power Play: 1. An explosive price move commences on huge volume that shoots the stock price up at least 100 percent in less than eight weeks. 2. The stock price then moves sideways in a fairly tight range, not correcting more than 20 to 25 percent over a period of three to six weeks. ($CAPR fell by more than 60%. No thanks). 3. The range ultimately leads to some tight price action (shouldn't correct more than 10%. If it does, then I guess it's not particularly "tight", is it?). Volatility squeeze would be ideal. --Dan

The best are $NVAX $ADAP $AKBA & $CAPR The other IBD group is Medical products, group 13; $VIVO $LVGO $CODX $QDEL & $BSGM. We sold QDEL & AKBA at the high. We still hold $APLT $GMAB & $LVGO.
